Canceled TV shows....
TruTV, formerly "Court TV", has canceled "The Star Jones Show"
Loox as if Star's star is setting almost as rapidly as to rose.
I also believe TruTV has shortened its life expetcancy considerably by changing its focus in mid-season.
With the writers' strike beginning to wind down, look for a whole blort of cancellations to come shortly after they resume work. I figure some writers have already prepared some scripts to hand their networx the day the strike ends.

Which show was that? I just can't 'see' it in my little cerebrum right now. If I learn what show it is, I'll see what I can find out. There are so many shows on hiatus becausa the writers' strike that it's hardta keep up with everything.

Hmmm...My synapses once again started carrying data again!
The show is called Life & is on hiatus dueta the writers' strike. It has received a full-season order, whenever production resumes.

In yet another astute move, the CW is ending its relationship with the Mc Mahons and WWE Wrestling(Smackdown), it's most-viewed program!
It will end on CW on Sept. 12, 2008.
“There was absolutely no audience flow to any of our other shows,†a CW insider said. “No one who watched Smackdown watched any of our other shows on any other night.
WHAT THE HECK !?!?!?
No one was watching too many of their other shows anyway! And there will certainly be less now!
At the rate it's going, the CW isn't gonna last into 2009 if its parent CBS doesn't wake up and replace Dawn Ostroff as "Entertainment" Director. She is trying to make the CW into a net that skews toward young women in a marketplace already abounding with many net-ettes & local stations reaching that same demographic. It just isn't gonna work!
"Smackdown" is usually the CW's most-viewed program in most given weex. What kinda 'intelligence' dumps its top prog? The Mc mahons are smart business people who want to make money same as the CW OUGHT to want! There were no major differences they couldn't have worked out had the CW really wanted to keep "Smackdown" on their sked. I can guarantee some other net will pick it up very swiftly, as it has an almost-guaranteed viewership of over 5 million a show. The ONLY other CW show that approaches those numbers is "America's Next Top Model", mainly because it's hosted by Tyra Banks.
Yes, right now, Ms. Banks is the most-important person on earth to the CW. If SHE goes, the net flopzz, simple as that.

The CW has apparently canceled its long-running Girlfriends. This was FAR from their worst show! I still think that some power behind the throne wants the CW to fail & close down.
Do they actually think they're gonna sell such garbage as "Crowned: the Mother of All Beauty Pageants" or other horrible reality skuzz?
Now that the writers' strike is ending, watch the cancellation ax get busy shortly on the major nets!

I know I will take some heat from this but one show I would love to see come back is The Book Of Daniel, I know ppl had complaints about this show due to the nature of the main characters but all I have to say is truth hurts, I was friends with kids of Pastors and alike, and they act just like the kids on this show, also how would having Jesus as your life guide be a bad thing.

Sorry, but ya might as well look for it on DVD cuz it won't be back. All the folx involved with it are off on other projects now.
Besides the criticism, its Neilsens stunk. That's the main reason it was yanked; the criticism was just an excuse.

....aside from the obvious, that being nobody watched it.........I guess, expect me!
The best way to describe online availability for any TV show is..."Schedule Subject To Change, Without Notice". Sometimes, TOO MANY folx are watching something online & the net feels it's taking away from the TV viewership.
Re: Canceled TV shows....
Yes, the cancellation axe is swinging now that the writers' strike is over & the nets don't hafta keep deadwood any more.
Apparently, NBC has unceremoniously dumped "Las Vegas", due to low ratings, after a five-year run.
