No it was our second trip to Nationals. I wasn't in the band then but they went 2 years ago in 2005. Yes we should come up there sometime next year.

Don't know if this is the right band news or not-but I heard Green's Pep Band last night-awsome job! I didn't realize how much I missed pep bands! Great job by the director and the boys choir too!

Thanks sportsnut mom, from this old Grandpa .............. Green has an outstanding music department.. Six girls will be singing the National Anthem at the girl's game Thurs.. They also do an outstanding job... Throw the boys and girls together and you have quite a sound...(outstanding)

I also love the pep bands at the ball games, but not many schools have them anymore.

Correction ~ There were 4 girls and 3 boys that sang the National Anthem at the girls's game....
2 sopranos....... 2 altos............. 2 tenors, and 1 bass............
They did an absolutly fantastic job..

Marietta Goes to nationals every other year and we almost always have our best performance of the season as well. guess it's just something about playing on that stage
