Congrats to Ironton Jr. High Cheerleaders

Just got a call from itownpaw and the Ironton Jr. High Cheerleaders placed 1st in the their division and were over all champions(Grand Champions) for the competition today in Columbus. She said the girls received a big trophy, banners, and a jacket. Congrats to itownpaw(their coach), the girls,and their families. Way to go girls!

The 8th Graders are : Morgan Bodmer,Abbie Crowe, Tori Crabtree, Elle Johnson, Tish Roush, and Morgan Weisgarber. The 7th Graders are:Hannah Cronacher,Madi Kerns, Melanie Kiser, Jada Mullins, Alicia Murphy, and Kylie Thomas.

Great group of girls. I hope I spelled their names right.

Both squads are excellent, with a great coach!! Knowing these girls and their coach, I'm sure they went out and blew the competition out of the water!

I noticed there are alot of power tumblers on both squads, I bet they all looked amazing out there. I wish I coulda been there to cheer everyone on!

Hey Paw, got any videos of it??? If so, I would love to watch one day. I'm sure it would be a hit w/ the mini cheerleader around the house too!!!

I did order a video and it will take about 3-4 weeks to come in. I am so very proud of the girls. They worked hard and even came to practice when they didn't feel like it. Ironton Cheerleading has a lot to look forward to in the future.

The cheerleaders will be competing March 16th at the Big Sandy Arena. I don't have the times yet, but I would love for you to come and watch. I know that Dawson Bryant Middle school will be there as well. We won't be competing against one another as far as I know. We are a different level as they are. I signed for level 5 and I think they are level 4. So come out and support the area teams. Should be a fun day.
