Help Please! Avatars

Can anybody tell me how to upload an avatar? I've read the FAQ's and am not having any luck. I don't want one of the available ones. I want to load one off the net. Thank you

Avatars have to be a specific size. (read the FAQ about size) Find the one you want and then right-click on the avatar, click on properties, this will tell you how many pixels your avatar is. Too much detail or animation will make it go over your limit.

I found all the size stuff, and the one I want to load is small enough. It is, of course, a picture of Swiper the fox. I can't load it from my 'puter or a URL.

okay if you have the image on your computer go to http://www.imageshack.us read the instructions there its simple If i can do it anyone can .. browse in your pics click on the one you want hit host it it will then come up with several different url's and you go to the bottom one copy and paste it over in the box that says link off line site. and it then should work for you.. if not well I'm not sure...
