Consumer Spending Stalls in January
According to one not so smart leader there is no cause for concern.
Consumer spending was essentially flat for the second straight month in January, raising new concerns about a possible recession.

The fuel that runs the big rigs now stands at 3.69 a gal which means the food we eat will be going up again but, hey this so smart leader of this country and those who support him say there is no problem.

I notice at some places to fuel to run the big trucks is up to 3.71 at some places.
I think congress could try and do something but the oilman would veto anything that they come up with to lower the price.

Can't blame any driver who stops driving right now.
Some will still say things are just fine but we who can see, well we can see.

If everyone that doesnt have a need for a truck drove a car, gas may be a bit cheaper. I dont know, just a thought.

You wouldn't believe the people that I work with that come driving in the parking lot(by themselves) in big 4 x 4 trucks and suvs. What a waste

Re: Consumer Spending Stalls in January
The truckers need to shut down for about 3 days and this crap will take another direction. But it will not happen!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Consumer Spending Stalls in January
Most truckers are part of a company and they just add a fuel surcharge to their invoice and it's just passed on to their customer.
Re: Consumer Spending Stalls in January
It doesn't matter what happens, the consumer always pays!!!!!!!

As I said, If Everyone that doesn't have a need a for a truck drove a car (i.e. TRUCK DRIVERS, farmers, any other jobs that require a truck). I didn't say everyone needs to stop driving huge trucks, obviously people like truck drivers have a need to drive a truck.
