How is one able to gain access to the new history forum? It say something about not having permissions. I also looked in the user groups in the control panel andit was not listed there either.
So how do we get in?
History Forum

Re: History Forum
Ok Thanks.
I had tried earlier when I first saw the forum and could get in. Then I saw you had made a post and tried again thinking it would be open. I guessed wrong.
Just have to wait it out.

Re: History Forum
I have not attempted to go there yet. May I ask a couple of questions? Is it absolutely restricted to the geographical boundaries of "Southeast Ohio"?
Can we mention - provide a link to a website - places of historical significance that we found interesting to visit even if they're outside our particular corner of Ohio?
Last fall, there was a Topic in the Chat Forum that involved/included several different Festivals [maybe not strictly "historical" but with "yesteryear" undertones] held on a yearly basis within a day's driving range for most of us which proved very interesting and informative. Would that kind of info be pertinent on the History Forum?
I'm not sure what kinds of subjects this new Forum is meant to include - personal family history, assistance with geneology searches, travel destination ideas or events with historical significance suggestions? Will there be guidelines or restrictions on subject matter? I love Ohio history - how about books - would that be a legitimate topic?
How wide [or how narrow] is this forum going to be defined?
