TV10CBS called for 4 to 6 here in the Hocking County at 5:00 and when they went off near 6:30 he said it is projected to be going more to southern Ohio

Something is on it's way for sure. Ole winter storm Titan is a huge storm and will be a long duration storm for this area, when it gets here. The satellite pictures of the center of the storm off the coast of California is unbelieveable. No matter what we get, my shovel is resting/retired/ done for the season Bolt. I'm shoveled out.   :122245 Don't want to have a heart attack and miss those cool looking new Chieftain helmets in the opener against The Golden Gales this year. That would be my luck. :( :122247

Probably a limited time to see it off the coast. Anyways, here it is, wrapped up like a tight coil spring. http://www.climatecentral.org/news/mons ... oast-17136

At my place on the east side of Zanesville, we got about 2 1/2 inches out of the first round. Another 1-3 is expected later tonight. At least we avoided the freezing rain around here

With the rain that came before the snow...the great China gauge had 1.35 inches in it.

That extra 1-3" we were suppose to get during the evening ended up barely being a dusting. So this weekends "big major storm' was another huge miss as our snow total was only 2 1/2". And again NO rain, sleet or freezing rain was involved for our area like they predicted.

That's the way I look at it, they only know something is coming, with all their high tech gadgets. Ole Mother Nature will do as she pleases. She can change her mind at anytime, for the good or bad. Glad we didn't get the worst of it, though my shovel would have still been taking a rest no matter what we got.   :-D :122245

emptied out the gauge after the 1st round..with the freezing rain in the bottom and the temperatures dropping I didn't want it to freeze too hard. This morning when I went out to check, it had almost two inches which probably came out to 3.25" altogether.
