No I was working toward that and thne I started having pain in my shoulder. So I got it checked and I got an inflamed AC joint. Doing any kind of pressing hurts. So Im laying off bench and shoulders for a few weeks. So my plan to hit 550 has been detoured for a few weeks. Ill probably start doing light bench again the 1st of march. By then end of March Ill be back on track to hit 550.

Its going pretty good for me. Since I cant becnh or do shoulders Ive been doing arms like 4 times a week. Ive been working out 2x a day at least 3 days a week plus Ive been doing an hour of cardio a day at least.
Im about to change up my whole program starting monday. I dont know if your seen it or not, but one of the guys at the gym has gotten the P90x workout vids. So about 4 of us is going to do them together. It takes like 90 days and its supposed to be a killer workout. Im going to try it.

Good luck with that.

I posted it on my space today but in short I did dumbbell bench press today and was able to get 4 sets of 10 with the 100 pounders today.

I am still putting up 4 sets of 10 at 250 pounds on the bench. I follow that with two sets of 12 to 18 reps at 225 pounds. Lately, I have added a large number of push ups to my chest/tricep workout. I am using those floor handles for the push ups (traditional style...not the new ones that rotate).

My gym is suppose to be adding one of these machines.

http://www.ironcompany.com/index.asp?Pa ... rodID=3024

Has anybody used this machine before? If so, any thoughts on it?

HS, go to westsidebarbell.com its a powerlifting group out of Columbus. They use that piece for a lot of workouts. It might give you a little more info about it. IUts a pretty good site to for articles about powerlifting.

Thanks tigercannon71 for the link.

I can't wait to try Simmons' machine out.

I love hyper-extensions. I think it's the most critical exercise in the gym. You need strength and flexibility in the lower back even if you are not a lifter. Nothing replicates the movement of hyper-extensions. I finish ALL back workouts with at least 4 sets of 15 reps.
