In fact D & C, many times the govt HAS limited what "arms"you may have. There was a previous "assault weapons" ban that was never struck down in court. It only ended when its sunset provision wasn't renewed by the Rs in Congress. The NRA look like complete fools now because even the public now knows you CAN legally limited guns, have them registered, etc. N. Y. just passed sweeping regulations and the NRA knows there isn't a d@mned thing they can do about it except continue to promote propaganda & lies. This is now a lying contest for the NRA to see how many dumb citizens they can B.S. Many, many things can be done with the 2nd amendment and still be O.K. The govt is perfectly free to regulate guns and also limit the type of arms you own as long as you can own "SOME" guns. The only person who's going to be penalized and have difficulty is the law-abiding citizen, who then cannot have it if he wants protection-the protection of a weapon in his home, for home protection.
