I just got home from the hospital, and Bob is doing good itownpaw. He really wants to go home. I will pass along your message.
Thanks to all that have prayed, phoned and visited. I know Bob has appreciated it.
Bob was happy to hear that the Fighting Tigers won Friday night to finish at 8 - 2 on the regular season.

Another Update
It's been less than two weeks since Bob's heart attack. Bob lost 17 pounds while in the hospital, and he is walking around pretty good- all things considered. He has not looked or felt this good in a long time.
Bob has a monster bruise across his back from where he fell into the solid-oak seat behind him. A nurse at KDMC said it is possible that the blow restarted his heart. It's certainly interesting to think that Tanks Stadium assisted in saving his life.
I would be remiss not to thank all of the fans trained in medicine that assisted Bob at the game. P.D. Rase was on the scene from his seat in another section within seconds. A nurse at KDMC stated that my friend could not have been in better hands as P.D. is one of the finest trauma nurses in the country. Bob's cousin, Joyce Lewis, was sitting right behind us in Marty Lewis' seats. She is a nurse, and was instrumental in getting Bob to leave the game for medical treatment. I was told that as many as three or four nurses gathered around....again thank you all for your assistance.
Hats off to AD Lafon for his assistance that night in getting the EMTs in and out of the stadium. It is certainly nice to know that the EMS is parked in our endzone in case of such an emergency. You don't appreciate that fact until you need it.
Again, thanks to all for their help that evening.
