From what I could gather from the girls grandmother who raises her. They were walking between the fire station and lick run lyra turn off in Wheelersbyrg. the car hit them and left the scene. The guy turned himself in this morning and said he didnt have a license to drive so he got scared and ran. He had his three kids with him. The girl has a fractured ankle and A severe broken arm along with a concussion and inner bruising. The boy has a broken arm and nose and I think they said leg also. They both are going to recover but it will take some time for them.

Thanks for you prayers.

Thanks for the update. That is good news that they should recover. I will continue to pray of course.

Ironically, I was just speaking to one of our newly elected township trustees on Thursday about the need for more sidewalks in our town, especially around the school's neighborhoods (Gleim Road, Pirate Drive) but I would also like to see them all along Center street, Dogwood Ridge and Ohio River Road. They are intermittant in those areas at best. It may or may not have helped prevent this particular accident but it may one in the future. Anyone know of any grants available for such things?

well,,,at least thats a lot better then what we was hearing before....

still for me...hard to understand, how someone with kids of his own, could leave the scene after hitting a couple if kids, they could have lay there and die because he was more worried about driving with no license!

hope for a speedy rcovery for the two.

Prayers from the Grove.

From what I am reading on here of what happened these kids were extremely lucky, or they had angels watching over them that night.
