the best thing you can do is if you do not like that person topic just let it go and it will makes it way off the first page.
Put up a topic that doesn't have a thing to do with government what soever.

So let me get this right... those who don't want to see the political garbage in the chat forum should just skip over it and go on to what they want to read but when someone digs up older posts and brings them back to the top they are told to stop or be suspended? Why doesn't the suggestion to "just skip over it" apply here? Just asking.

Big difference. Old dead topics from 5-13 months ago that get bumped up is like spamming the board. It's bad forum etiquette to do that.

The title of this thread sure hits the nail on the head. I have been in and out the forum over the past week or so, and I have to agree that this section has turned to garbage. But it is due to the dog(s) digging into the dumpster (old, outdated and forgotten about threads) and scattering the trash throughout the yard. What a mess it has become for that reason only.

Sorry there Bud. I contribute what I can as my time sees fit. I am not like you and your ilk who live on this forum to hunt out and cry about everything that gets posted that does not suit your needs. I feel there is no need to drag up old topics that have not not been posted on for years. We know what is going on here every time she bumps a post. I have more common sense than that. But apparently others don't.

What does it matter if someone dislikes YOUR president or your democrats? You guys do the exact same thing when it comes to the Republicans....and the Dems on here started doing it back when Bush was our president. Long before anyone started in on the democrats.

Exactly Bryce. If Burg and his buddies wouldnt post on those thread to argue then they would drop down the page and be buried yet instead of doing that they click on them and comment to keep them alive at the top of the page. Then they whine and complain about it.

I will be interested to see if Matt's overhaul of Moderators and administrative staff changes the parameters of acceptable behavior on here. Something needs to change, and let's hope that this is the start.
