Approximately 360 Billion dollars spent to service the 16 Trillion + debt in FY 12.

We had 4 years of surplus from 1998-2001 which was mostly due to capital gains tax, a good economy, and a combination of the Republican House and Clinton in the White House.newarkcatholicfan wrote:How much was it decreased when the oil man killed this country during his eight year run of hell?
Since then, it has been awful by both W and then Obama (much more worse for Obama)...
It is time to cut spending by 15% across the board and raise the tax rate on those making $250K plus per year.

What's Obama's plan on generating jobs? He has been in office 4 years and the only thing he has increased is the National Debt, at the tune of 6 trillion dollars.
