Sadly, they are fighting over crumbs. Its not as though they are miles apart on cuts or taxes. Look over here while I stick it to you over there. It's gamesmanship and kabuki theatre at this point. Both parties are full of themselves. The people who suffer the most are the one's living paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meet. Either their taxes increase or goods and services needed to sustain life will increase. As the economy grows the price of fuel will certainly increase. As the price of fuel increases so does the price of food, utilities, etc...Inflation/hyperinflation is on the horizon too. Pick your poison boys and girls. The blame can be found in our mirrors.
