Every station I passed on my way home from worked jumped up to 3.06.
Benchmark oil for February delivery rose 77 cents to settle at $89.37 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

went by Speedway East at 10:30am and it was 2.89 stopped at Dollar General and went by speedway West at 11:00 and it was 3.16. At Walmart it was 2.85 came on back past speedway West at 12:20pm and it was down to 3.06 and at speedway East it was still 2.89.

It was 2.91 Monday morning. It raised to 3.05 by that evening and remained the same today.

Oil was up again yesterday so the price at the pump will go up soon.
I am guessing 3.10-3.15 by the weekend.

Gasoline prices have been rising steadily with oil prices for the past month and many analysts think that trend will continue, with gas stations across the country charging around $3.50 a gallon or more by spring.
