7/24/07 Wholesale Oil closed down at 73.50 and gasoline was 2.0477 down 0.0564. Retail in downtown Ironton is 2.87 and Ashland Ky 2.82

7/25/07 Wholesale oil took a huge jump to 75.88 up 2.32 a barrel and gasoline jumped to 2.0879 up 0.0402 a gallon. Retail in Ironton is 2.87 but going up all over the Tri-State today or so I've been told. Got a phone call from someone in the know and they said Marathon was raising the prices today.

7/26/07 Wholesale oil closed at 74.95 down 0.93 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0759 down 0.0120 a gallon. I checked on it early in the day and oil was up to 77 dollars. Retail gas in Ironton is still 2.87

According to Gasbuddys.com, the average price of gas in Columbus is $2.65. The lowest price in Ohio is in Urbana, at an amazing, $2.41 a gallon..........

7/27/07 Oil closed at 77.02 up 2.07 and gasoline was 2.1017 up 0.0258. Retail in Ironton is still 2.84. My friend was right, it looks like we are in for a jump in prices.

Still 2.84 in Ironton. I did notice last night it was 2.83 at Sam's Club in South Point.

7/30/07 Oil closed at 76.83 down 0.22 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0856 down 0.0161 a gallon. Wasn't downtown yesterday so uptown Ironton was 2.99 retail.

7/31/07 Oil closed at 78.31 up 1.38 a barrel and this is a high for this year and gasoline closed at 2.1408 up 0.0552 a gallon. Retail in Coal Grove is 2.89

8/1/07 Oil closed at 76.53 down 1.63 a barrel and the last time I looked at gasoline it was down to 2.02 wholesale. Quite a one day drop. Retail gas in Ironton was 2.89

8/2/07 Oil closed at 76.86 up 0.33 a barrel and gas closed at 2.0856. Retail in Ashland Ky was a low of 2.65 in the upper end of town and gas in Ironton was 2.89.
