It gets worse Fido, that genius in DC has dreamed up a solution of reducing our dependence on foreign oil by 1/3 or something like that...and what is one of the biggest means he plans on doing so? Ethanol! It's a BAD BAD way ....terribly bad way! it's money greasing politicians palms is the only thing I can figure on it. It reduces the number of miles you get per gallon, it's hard on your engines and....it produces dangerous pollution!

Here ya go and again, he's planning on making more ethanol?! Let's not drill it, let's just keep driving up the cost of food..and gasoline?! (let's not forget, oil companies get a big subsidy for every single gallon of ethanol they put in our gasoline)
The cost of beef has gone through the roof, coffee prices are at a 13-year high, and even produce grown right here in California is more expensive than usual.

Grocery prices rose by more than 1 1/2 times the overall rate of inflation in 2010, according to government statistics, and economists predict that it will be even worse this year. For months consumers have grappled with higher prices at the supermarket, while restaurateurs pulled out every kitchen trick they could to absorb food inflation costs.

FIDO wrote:It rose over 10 cents a gallon overnight. Ya'll will be at the 5 dollar a gallon mark by Memorial Day weekend...Gonna be a long hot miserable summer..

........and we continue to blame one party over the other.........
Both parties especially with the last two presidents(One from each party)have proven they do not care about this country or those who live in it. We are not smart enough to vote both parties out of office so we deserve what ever they do to us.

I posted on Friday that gas was 3.57 and 3.58. Those prices were the same on Saturday but rose to 3.79 and 3.81 on Sunday here in Zanesville.

And btw NCF, gas is all I get at the stations. Can't really afford the gas, but I know I can't afford to pay their prices for anything else.
