$2.65 in Peake.

Are we, the public, getting starched, or what?

I fired off an email to Rep. Strickland yesterday, as well as to Sens. Dewine & Voinovich, & to WV Sens. Byrd & Rockefeller as well. (No, Rocky is NOT part of the oil cartel! I wish one of OUR senators had done as much for Ohio as Rocky's done for WV!

I hate how the oil companies are making up lame excuses to boost the prices when they're making record income.

nybucksmom I think one was cheaper than that as of last night...
Logan was higher... its usually cheaper than Nelsonville...
I think all of us should do what Misteroby did and contact all our congressmen and senators and complain!!!!!!!

They'll probably decide that we aren't paying enough and raise the prices.

Here's how to contact Rep. Strickland:

http://www.house.gov/strickland/contact.htm

Senator Dewine:

http://dewine.senate.gov/

Senator Voinovich:

http://voinovich.senate.gov/contact/index.htm

Senator Rockefeller:

http://rockefeller.senate.gov/

Senator Byrd:

http://byrd.senate.gov/

Senator Bunning:

http://bunning.senate.gov/

Senator Mc Connell:

http://mcconnell.senate.gov/contact.cfm

Rep. Davis:

http://geoffdavis.house.gov/Contact.aspx

Gov. Taft:

http://governor.ohio.gov/contactinfopage.asp

Gov. Manchin:

http://www.wvgov.org/contact.cfm

Gov. Fletcher:

http://governor.ky.gov/contact.htm

And Pres. Bush:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

The simplest way to quickly contact these people is to compose an email, copy it, & paste it onto the various email addys offered by those officials.

Remember, EVERY email is read by someone in each of these officials' offices, and is often passed on to the official. For example, Rep. Strickland or someone in his ofc. has answered EVERY email I've sent. I only send him about four to six a year so as not to appear to be a spammer or busybody...BUT THEY ARE NOTICED! So, please don't think your one lone voice doesn't matter! Silence tells the official he must be correct & there's no reason to change course, but if he receives an onslaught of letters or emails about the same subject, believe me, he notices and acts! So, please, contact your officials and blast the ridiculously-high gas prices!

Do nothing ourselves...and the officials will do nothing, either!
