Took over my brother's paper route when I was 9. Took over the other 3 routes in the general area until I was 13, had to give it up once I started playing sports in JH. Still have my first purchase from it, a 19' Sharp TV. It sits in my living room so my niece can watch movies on it when she visits. I actually had a lot of money from it up until 4 years ago when times got rough for a bit. 15 years of interest was a pretty nice chunk of change.
Kept the Scorebook at the Chillicothe Regionals from 2001-2009
Worked at Sears in my first summer out of college

Yeah, that's hard work. I had a cousin that did that for awhile. Pretty sure that's why his back bothers him today.

I began working in September of 78 at 16 1/2 at Big Bear Supermarket for a just a little a year and a half until they started cutting hours. Started out at 25-30 hours a week and near the end many of us were reduced to 10-15 so they could hire more workers. I was told I could travel 40 miles to Lancaster if I wanted more. I quit that day and started working at a greenhouse/nursery the next day at 50 hours a week for $1.50 more on the hour.
