Best drinks for the holiday season?

I had a sip of Woodford Reserve a few weeks ago on ice. Very smooth!
I came up with a concoction of Woodford reserve with a splash of pomegranate juice on ice.....quite the whistle wetter.
I also like Jameson Irish whiskey with a little Vernor's ginger ale.....another tasty treat.
For those that have never tried a "Pickleback"...its a shot of Jameson followed immediately with a shot of pickle juice. The acid in the pickle juice erases the whisky and they are in fact addictive.

I have to wonder if Tim Smith's "legal" shine is as good as what he was whipping up in the Virginia hills?

I haven't been uptown Athens in a few years but hot nut at Tony's was the best winter shot. Just coffee and whiskey

Heard it wasn't as high of proof but he still uses his recipe. Know one thing though, it's probably cleaner and brewed under more sanitary conditions, than the back woods brew.
