Image I have DSL, the highest speed that Windstream now offers. How about posting your results? Who would have thought DSL would have ever achieved these speeds? my DSL is 29 dollars a month which, the last time I checked was far cheaper than cable, is it still?

Here's the URL, after you test it will take you to another page and offer you a forum link when you just copy and paste here

From Zanesville To Cincinnati

The upload side is down a bit this time of day. Normally I have aroung 750-850. My download is close to being on average. It is higher if I check the Owenboro server.

Wow, I knew it would be bad. My cable internet (time warner) has been messing up a lot lately. I can not even connect sometimes, something with the signal they say. I actually just called a tech and they will be out Friday.
Hopefully better numbers then ....

yeah but..as I said, you're running through that high data line. That's not what people have in their homes. One day we'll all have those speeds but not now

You are getting the numbers that RoadRunner Lite should be putting out. Are you sure that not what you are paying for?

Normal RoadRunner speeds will be close to 7000 download and 450 upload (maybe 500 if the wind blows right). Turbo will be between 12000 - 15000 download and between 550 - 900 upload.

I am sure that the technician will check all ofyou equipment out first, but make sure he checks ALL of the outside lines. The problem may not be with your personal lines, but Time Warner may have an open connection somewhere on the main line. That was my problem here a couple of months back.

Run a few more of those tests. They are saved on the Speedtest website. That way he can see what speeds you are getting.

Here's what happens when you're stuck on dial up. I hope the governor gets high speed state-wide!

I have TW cable [Roadrunner]. Of course I have no idea what any of this means.
[I just followed 'tucky's instructions - maybe a mistake, right there!]
Which is "better"? Big numbers or little ones?
