Prayers Needed For A Portsmouth Trojan

Post by The Instructor »

A Portsmouth Trojan needs our prayers.

Tom Grashel is a teacher and the Athletic Director at Portsmouth High School.

He has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

He is married, has a son and two daughters.

Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers.

So sad,
Tom was my teacher when I went to Grant Middle School. He was also very active with the sports scene at ptown when my son went there. he is a great guy and excellent teacher. i will keep him in my prayers.

Wow --I believe he is not much older than me and I'm a young guy , or at least I was yesterday. I hate it for him . tough type of ca to deal with. He was always supporting the PHS sports. good luck MD

I was told today that he is 48.

Tom is a Trojan fan to the core.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The Instructor,
I have heard from my son, that a few kids he graduated with, said that things were worst for Mr Grashel. I won't say what he told me, as it could just be some wrong things going through the rumor mill. My son asked me to try and find out if this is so. If you do find out more, could you let us know.

Thanks, Philly
