What if the company that made the product goes out of business ?
The company my grandfather bought the heater from can not be found on the internet.
The company was located on a road in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1986. Now that address is occupied by an adult book store. lol..

Maybe "lifetime warranty"refers to the company and not the product. If the company has gone out of business, the company is "dead" so it reached the end of any "lifetime warranty".

i believe the "lifetime" warranty in ohio is actually 7 years on consumer products that offer lifetime warranty's. i read this a few years back.
