hunt a peck ?

right now I can't use my pinkie on each hand and my middle finger on my right hand due to injuries to them... pinkie one about cut off pinkie two nail is torn down to the quick and its really sore and middle finger I cut on those enevelpes with the metal clasp my hand slipped and it sliced it open..

moral to the story here is I shouldn't be allowed sharp objects

I took typing at Dear Old Ironton High.

Mrs. Mason taught the class and I hated it.

Those damned timed tests were pure torture to me!

I am glad I know how to type now though.

I took typing in high school because that is where all of the hot chicks were. I use all 10.

Thanks goodness for Mrs. Wilson, my typing teacher. I can honestly say that typing was the most practical class I had in high school. I use the correct method.

my wife types amazing, she can do well over 100 words a minute as timed on her last test. it blows my mind to watch her. she is amazing on a keyboard, she does medical transcription, and scribe work. she has a curved keyboard that she uses at work. i tryed using 2 fingers, index on each hand. but felt out of control.

I am glad you went back to one finger then.

i just felt like i was out -thinking myself.

The good ole army taught me to type, problem is I get to typing and loose confidence in myself and start looking and then really mess up

i must look. though i have the board nearly memorized.

I use both hands, but once and a while I have to look.

Hunt and peck for me. I use about four fingers. It has been a long time since I took typing in high school and never had to use it.

I had Mrs. Mason as well. Philip Heald and I used to cheat all the time.

Who would have thunk that typing would end up being my bread and butter.

I use eight fingers and two thumbs. There used to be a lot of typing learning software you can use to learn how to type. I couldn't stand that hunt and peck stuff I see some doing.

Put one index finger on the 'j' key and the other on the 'f' key and start learning. There are raised ridges on most keyboards to help you find the j and f key.

I used to do 65 words a minute, I'm down to about 62 now. Old age perhaps? that and I can't find my good reading glasses

all my fingers, i took typing in high school, it was that or home ec. and i figured i would always marry someone who could cook

I'm a "hunt n pecker".

I learned to type on the old manual typewriter freshmen year of high school. It paid off big time, through my undergrad and graduate work. I am not the speediest in the world but I do well with all 10 of my digits. I also have trouble with numbers.
