McConaughey, Girlfriend Are Expecting

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 16) - Matthew McConaughey is going to be a dad. The actor and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, are expecting a baby, publicist Alan Nierob said Tuesday.

McConaughey made the announcement on his Web site.

"Got some blessed news ... a celebration of life and bounty ... a newborn concieved (sic) ... yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together," McConaughey wrote.

Alves, who is three months along, is doing well, the actor wrote.

"We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father," he said.

McConaughey goes on to say, "Wish us the best, keep us in your prayers, and God bless evolution."

McConaughey, a Texas native, has appeared in films including "The Wedding Planner" and "Sahara" and was named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2005.

His latest film, "Fool's Gold," is to be released next month.

Well, I don't follow the guy but what is behind the 'God bless evolution' I'm clueless, is that a movie or whatever he's been working on or is he talking bout his relationship evolving or is he equating being able to conceive as evolution? someone help me out here?

The last time that I heard anything about a relationship being summed up this way was when Billy Ray Cyrus was quoted as saying:

'my daddy always said the only thing that stayed in the middle of the road was white lines and dead possums so I figured I'd better make a move'

That was what he said when asked about why or how he decided to go ahead and get married to his current wife..bet that was the most romantic thing she ever heard in her life..she probably swooned :lol:

It has been reported in many news magazines and by several of his co-stars that he does not believe in wearing deodorant.

Several of them talked of him smelling bad.
