78%Dixie, wow. This was a conversation in college. Quite interesting, for example, I grew up saying ground squirrel and was hammered by those who informed me it was a chipmunk! Also found out things like a brick in inner city New York was a street apple. All kinds of interesting things like that.

74% Dixie. I remember the first time my Alabama brother-in-law came up for a visit and he asked my daughter where's your boiler? She said in the basement. He was shocked, because he was looking for a pot to boil potatoes in. When my daughter realized what he wanted, she asked what in the world he calls a skillet and he said a fryer. They also don't give you a ride or a lift somewhere, they carry you to town.

my grandma moved to Tenn. and there was a town just up the road named Marysville they referred to it as Marvel I kept looking for a sign for Marvel
