78%Dixie, wow. This was a conversation in college. Quite interesting, for example, I grew up saying ground squirrel and was hammered by those who informed me it was a chipmunk! Also found out things like a brick in inner city New York was a street apple. All kinds of interesting things like that.

My in laws are originally from New Hampshire Gahs, I know what you mean about asking for things like a shake. I get an english lesson every time we visit them. I don't think they will ever understand that they are wrong and we are right :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

74% Dixie. I remember the first time my Alabama brother-in-law came up for a visit and he asked my daughter where's your boiler? She said in the basement. He was shocked, because he was looking for a pot to boil potatoes in. When my daughter realized what he wanted, she asked what in the world he calls a skillet and he said a fryer. They also don't give you a ride or a lift somewhere, they carry you to town. :-D

my grandma moved to Tenn. and there was a town just up the road named Marysville they referred to it as Marvel I kept looking for a sign for Marvel :shock:

speech therapist finally gave up on my daughter :lol:
