Re: $3.69 Gas Today?
At Dubya's last address to us, he was asked about experts predicting gas prices going up to $4.00 by Spring.
He said he hadn't heard of that.
He said he hadn't heard of that.

I would say even he and those who still say he is still doing a good job can't be that stupid, but then againThe Instructor wrote:At Dubya's last address to us, he was asked about experts predicting gas prices going up to $4.00 by Spring.

Here it is....
"QUESTION: What’s your advice to the average American who is hurting now — facing the prospect of $4 a gallon gasoline, a lot of people facing –
BUSH: Wait a minute. What did you just say? You’re predicting $4 a gallon gas?
QUESTION: A number of analysts are predicting $4 a gallon gasoline this spring when they reformulate.
BUSH: That’s interesting. I hadn’t heard that.
QUESTION: Yes, sir. […]
QUESTION: Any restrictions on who can give? Will you take foreign money for this?
BUSH: Yes, probably take some foreign money, but don’t know yet. We just haven’t — we just announced the deal. And I, frankly, have been focused elsewhere, like on gasoline prices and, you know, my trip to Africa, and haven’t seen the fund-raising strategy yet.
And so, the answer to your question is really I can’t answer your questions well."

Then tell me what the R'S did when they were in charge. When oilman took over I was paying 1.25 for the high octane and now I am paying twice that for the low octane. If you are so blind to think this is a party thing then they have you rght where they want you.gahs4ever wrote:Sit back and watch when the Ds are in power and see how fast gas prices go down.....or anything else for that matter.

I just wonder if all of the Einsteins out there that think the President is somehow at fault, or that he is supposed to do something about fuel prices have an idea to get prices back to normal I don't see any of the candidates volunteering any informative answers.

Re: $3.69 Gas Today?
It's easy to lay the blame somewhere in government. I've posted this several times on here but if my memory serves me well the government hasn't been able to control fuel prices since the early 80's when deregulation came about.
