South Gallia Varsity has won at least 3 National Titles maybe 4. We do not have a state competition like WV. I wish they would bring it back like we had in the 80's.

Ohio does have a state competition, like WV does... It is held by the OASSA....They have had it for years....

Where is it held at? I have been involved with Ohio cheerleading for years and have not heard about it or received any information.

I believe the following website will help you out with Ohio State cheer competition. I have also included the dates from the site for the different places for the regionals and State competition. Two teams that I can remember where there last year South Point and the Jeeps. I hope this information helps you.

oassa is not the same as OHSAA...

I believe Federal Hocking won a national championship back in the late 90's.

In this area its a no brainer. GREENUP COUNTY is at the top of the class.

Greenup has the best mounting group, but South Gallia has the best non mounting squa in this area.

Western High School won the State Championship in the Dance category in 2001 I believe.

Your right. I believe they won 3 or 4 national championships in the late 80's as well.
