Pencil-sharpener
Pencil-sharpener
A 10-year-old South Carolina boy has been suspended from school for possesion of a broken pencil-sharpener. A teacher spotted the unnamed child wielding the sharpener's detached blade and thought he was clearly trying to sharpen a pencil, the boy was suspended for two days under the school's "zero-tolerance" weapons policy. School officials said they had "to make sure the child understands the seriousness of having something that could potentially harm another student."

Re: Pencil-sharpener
This is stupid pretty soon they will have to lock the kids up in padded rooms to make sure weapons arent being brought to school. I can see the schools point though a sharpened pencil can kill in numerous ways. You can jab it in someones eye or jugular. Or just break the skin and break the lead off and you will get lead poisoning.

Re: Pencil-sharpener
More unfortunate news, the administration and school board of said district were still allowed to work and make policy after clearly showing that they themselves did not possess the most dangerous weapon of all
