With October just around the corner, I have seen stores putting them out but remember having home made ones before which tasted better than the store bought ones. Anyone have/know a fast easy way to make them?

Get a bag of microwave popcorn open the top and pour in a half jar of carmel and 3 cups of peanuts, tape top back up, pop for 5 mins after done popping shake bag for 2 min and form before you open it. Freeze for 2 hours

Easy Popcorn Balls Recipe

Popcorn balls are a traditional Halloween treat. This recipe is very basic and makes some great tasting popcorn balls for your Halloween trick-or-treaters. It's easy to make colored popcorn balls by adding some food coloring or orange flavored gelatin.


Recipe Ingredients

8 c. popped popcorn

2/3 c. light corn syrup

2/3 c. granulated sugar

1/2 tsp. salt



Combine the corn syrup, sugar and salt in a large kettle and heat on medium heat while stirring until dissolved. Add the popcorn to the kettle and toss. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until mixture becomes very sticky. Remove from heat.



Shape popcorn into balls with clean hands and cool. Wrap the balls in plastic wrap and seal tightly with a twister.

Run a tub of warm water. Sit down for a couple hours, longer if necessary. Same thing for prune feet.

I think you did something wrong. Get you a new Microwave and try it again, because mine came out perfect but it was 15 mins like dowg said and not 5.

we went up to Lowes looking for a new microwave,we told the saleslady what happen to ours and she starting laughing at us. i mean right in our faces so we left she must have told everyone ine the store because they were staring and some were snickering at us. that was the third longest walk of my life .

It is just that when I read that receipt, I thought to myself, how in the world could that receipt work....then I read that you did it, and it didn't work, and I thought to myself.
