Will we really get another stimulus check?

Or are they just jerking our chains?? It would be nice to get the extra $$ before christmas but I'm not getting my hopes up

Let 'em keep 'em! what happened last time that was announced? the oil companies were waiting like vultures in a cartoon for them to come in

It would be nice, but I dont know if it would help. Last time so many ppl put theirs into savings instead of spending it. It might work better if they could get them out before Christmas. I know if we got another, we would spend it. We didnt save the last one either.

our last one went for eyeglasses for my son and bills... IF and that's a big IF it happens I'd love to have a nice Christmas for the kids!

Ours went to "stimulate" our daughter's wedding BUT it was worth every penny that we spent.

Register yourself as a bank and apply for the bailout money. I'd say you could qualifiy for a billion or two.

Thanks, Im glad you all got to come. We still need to get together sometime to look at the pictures, there never is any free time to do it, so we'll just have to make some.

This would be a $150 billion stimulus package, in addition to the already existing $700 billion bailout. I don't see how the first go 'round stimulated anything, so there's no reason to believe that a 2nd stimulus check would have a different result. For once, I agree with Kantucky.

think of the big bonus' we could pay ourselves

Last one went to pay owed taxes, that my former employer didn't take enough out for. 
We got $8.39
This would be over 1.2 trillion dollars in stimulus/bailout money this year,
at some point hopefully they'll learn that you can't fix the problem of inflation
by printing more money.
All of these "economic experts" and they can't answer a fundamental economics 101 question.

I seen Greenspan on the news saying how he thought the banks would operate in the best interest of the share holders, etc. OOPPSS, I was wrong.

Throwing money at a problem is always the government's answer to everything. If I have a financial problem I do a little research, use a little common sense, operate on a budget, don't spend more than I make, etc.....

I made it that way in my house. Debt is one of the biggest problems in this country.
