Veterans' Day - 11/11/11 - an unusually rare date and supposedly lucky number
I have a question or two - I do not qualify to RECEIVE the above meal offers. I do, however, absolutely salute and honor all military connected people - active, retired, or family - for their service/sacrifice, and appreciate all those businesses for their offers on behalf of our military.
What can a non-military person do to GIVE something back to all those who have served our country?
I have seen and applaud the Cheerios campaign to "Send Some Cheer" with the postcard on the box front; but I don't eat cereal of any kind [WAY too high-carb] at all. Are there similar but "low-carb" projects/campaigns in which to participate for us folks with limited mobility and resources?
