My son graduates this coming Saturday from Wheelersburg, then he starts his summer job at ODOT on June 8th, and then he starts at Ohio State in September. I am very proud of him and all of his accomplishments.

My oldest graduates on Sunday afternoon. Doesn't seem possible. I plan on taking plenty of tissues with me! Then off to Rio Grande!

My daughter graduates from South Point on Sunday. It just doesn't seem possible. It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital yesterday.

I bet it is hard seeing your little girl grow up.
I can't imagine it.
You will be one proud papa on Sunday!

I'm very proud of her. She is a pretty, gifted young lady. She will be graduating in the top 10 in her class. She will be going to the Ohio University Southern to continue her education. She took college op. classes her senior year, so she will already have a year of college under her belt. I told her that no matter how old she is, she will ALWAYS be daddy's little girl. It's still saddens me though, that she is growing up(you just want to keep them young forever), and come Sunday, May 24, it's going to hit me like a ton of bricks.

Re: Count Down To Graduation!
I have three grandchildren all graduating this Friday from JHS. One also went to Buckeye Hills and took the cosmotologist program. She passed her state testing and has already received her license. She is working part time at the beauty salon until school is out and then will go full time. One has joined the National Guard. And one is going to Shawnee in August. My sister is flying up from Alabama for the graduation. I am so excited.

You have proven single parent men can in fact raise children and get them through HS.
Congrats on getting your last one out of the nest.
Now you can watch the grandkids grow and enjoy life a little more.
CONGRATS to both you and your son! He really is a great kid!
gotta agree with you on doggie and his son who I had the pleasure of meeting one time in the Burg when an exchange of OBDTF shirts took place that doggie received from some distant relative in the Air Force. He seemed like a very nice young man and today is the day he walks across that stage..........

thanks, I appreciate the kind words, I diddnt do it all alone, I had lots of help , how ever, I am very proud of Michael, he is the one that deserves all the credit, he has done all the hard work, and toward the end "when he was 18" he could have easily given up, he strugled big time with one subject in his last year, and instead of throwing in the towel, he went and ask for help, he ask for a tutor "in whicth, East High School " helped get him one,and he busted his tail off untill he did what he had to do, we was all proud as hell of him today!!

orange-n-brown 365 ..I will tell him....thanks.
FIDO, we all wish you was back home ......Im sure you will be, when the time is right...thank you also.
everything went great, it was a great day "weekend" we had his party on sat, and graduation was on sunday, so it was a busy weekend......he offered to take me to Texas Road House with some of the cash he collected on saturday, but,I told him I would go another time, and let him and his girlfriend go alone and celebrate together, "she graduated also" so I told them to enjoy it together.
