PASADENA, Texas - Authorities say a Houston-area woman who was burned up at her former common-law husband fried their pet goldfish and ate some of them.

Pasadena police say it's a civil matter and no charges will be filed. The seven goldfish were purchased together by the couple during happier times.

Police spokesman Vance Mitchell says the man reported on Saturday that the woman took the goldfish from his apartment.
Mitchell says the two argued earlier about some jewelry the man had given her but took back. She wanted the jewelry returned.

Officers who were dispatched to the woman's home arrived to find four fried goldfish on a plate. The woman said she already ate the other three.

One time, a friend and I went to a party where a few guys were playing beer pong. . . they decided to make the game more interesting by placing goldfish in the cups.

YTB told me goldfish was good but I just couldnt do that to my pets. He said it taste better than carp.

I ate a goldfish once..mine was alive though and swallowed whole. Me and another guy were doing a competition to get more teens to the church and I lost. It flops for a few seconds going down and then when it hits your tummy but it quits in just seconds.


The next day the pastor was tongue lashed by several parents who wanted to know what in the world was going on down there. I was told...I couldn't swallow anymore gold fish.. true story though!

That story sounds fishy to me!

I have done a lot of crazy stuff for Christ but eating Goldfish isn't one of them!!!!!

Naw, this was in Ashland. We had a huge bus ministry and had a lot of kids who's parent's did not attend. It taste like chicken..only different...
