I don't know if who all knows this but Bob suffered a heart attack at last night's game. Whether you totally agree with him on things, I don't think there is a person who could not agree that Bob loves Ironton and loves IHS. He is in the ICU unit now and is facing further surgery, let's please keep this guy in our prayers because, I know that he always cared about so many of you all

I certainly believe in the power of prayer. Thank you all for keeping Bob in your prayers.

The heart attack was right before the opening kickoff. Bob told the EMTs at the game that he "came to see the record broken and did not want transported". After watching a quarter or so of the game, we finally got him to leave by EMS.

Prayers for Bob. Longtime family friend and I know Bob is tough. Bob certainly does love ironton, that has never been in doubt. Henry, give me a shout if there is anything I can do.

Bob is in our prayers as is his wife.

I saw and spoke with Bob today. He looks better...skin color more normal.

Bob Vaughn is at KDMC. He was in room 15 ICU tonight. I think there is a good chance he will be moved to a regular room as early as tomorrow.

Bob is up for visitors. He is vastly improved, and he talked the full one and a half hours during the late p.m. visiting hours.

Thanks for the info....the Ironton community should be proud of what Bob has done and what he continues to do!

Vaughn is out of the ICU. (ICU had very restricted visitation hours.)

Vaughn is now in the Heart and Vascular area at KDMC.

Thats breaking news right there. Are you guys saying that there will be a 2010 reunion? That can only benefit the kids of IHS. Any chance we can get some basketball coverage as well? Henry Steele has some great ideas about press guides, etc etc.
