Way to go!
What are you doing to lose it?
Certain diet?
Exercising?
Both?
Somthing else?
Re: Chart your weight loss for 2010 right here!
Probably not by watching TV shows about eating contests like Man vs Food [on another thread]!
I'm down about 5-6 lbs since Jan 1. I fixed a big pot of Louisiana style Chicken and Sausage Gumbo soup yesterday morning for no better reason than I had all the ingredients on hand and soup sounded good to me on a cold day. Then the New Orleans Saints ended up winning the Super Bowl - HAH - that soup just got better and better as it simmered along all day! I ate it for lunch, supper, and post-game snack and stayed far away from the usual game-time calorie-laden menu of munchables!

I know of several people who are using the Wii Fit.
It seems like it is the new thing to do.

I hit 55 lbs lost last week, but i have quit smoking[for the final time] and hope i can continue to lose. Ido know for the first couple of days off of cigarettes i ate to give me something to do. That is a big no no or i will put all 55 lbs back on.

Re: Chart your weight loss for 2010 right here!
Today I tried on another pair of size 36 pants made much smaller than the other two size 36 pants. These pants did not fit last week but they now do.
This is a slow moving process but it is things like this that shows it is worth doing.

Re: Chart your weight loss for 2010 right here!
HUGE CONGRATS to you, o-n-b365! I haven't lost any weight at all so far in Feb.
You've obviously got your previous habits/patterns under control or well-changed into new ones. I "quit smoking" altogether about a year ago - just QUIT - and have stuck with never doing that again since. But no one can "quit eating" altogether.
If you are the person responsible for putting food on the table for your family, it's even harder to break old habits and completely "do without" the food your family wants and expects you to prepare. Has your successful change in eating habits and weight loss influenced your family's food requests, expectations, and consumption?
As hard as it is to control your own calorie intake and lose weight yourself, it is much harder to deal with helping [or forcing] an overweight child [or any family member] to change their eating habits/choices and lose weight. And even harder to keep relationships on an even keel between skinny people who can eat anything they want and never gain a pound and those with serious weight issues - esp when it's your job to feed both!

Re: Chart your weight loss for 2010 right here!
thanks and not all my bad habits have been broken yet.. my mind still tells me its okay when there is still food left to go ahead and eat it.. and sometimes I do... grrr then I have to work extra hard to get rid of it! I found I cannot eat "bad" things I gain as soon as I do...
you sound like you've hit that darn brick wall change something.. go back to week one eat exactly like you did that week..or a week that you did really well losing... change your exercise try new foods that is what I do when I hit that place! You can do it!! Good luck
