I'm really hoping for a full-scale wintry blast that'll help Ohio break the record for biggest snowfall ever.

I know this is one of those El Nino years, but I think we're close enough to putting snow shovels away in all seriousness. I know the Farmer's Almanac predicted we're having floods along the Ohio River so that's always an amusing time to watch stuff float down to the locks/dam.

Hate to go to the Schott for the state boys tournament and have to wade thru snow and fight the blizzard-like conditions to see Northland win again, some team from the western side win 2 other divisions, and prolly a parochial school win another.

Long range computer models have been fairly consistent on a "potential" big snowstorm around March 17 and 18.

AccuWeather.com meteorologists will continue to monitor that situation.

As we have stated recently, the cold weather pattern is set to renew for a time during the middle and last part of March and could hook up with a major snowstorm or two before spring really takes hold.

After all, March is probably the stormiest month of the year, all things considered.

Enjoy the nice weather coming up this weekend, as it appears to be only a teaser.

Anyone remember Mid- March 1993. The perfect storm and the late season blizzard. 45 degrees @ 11:00 pm on a friday night and wake up to 18 inches of blowing snow. Oh by the way, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born in mid-April of 1987. Mom always told me she was worried that she wouldn't be able to make it to the hospital in time because it snowed 8 inches on April 9th.

Please no FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!! I'd be ticked if I had a blizzard during spring break. Well, actually ticked is putting it G rated.

That would be a really big reminder that I'm in college and still have no life.

I hope not. That will make it tough for our anniversary get a way and probably slow down the progress of us finishing building our house.
