Is it harder for a male or female to commit in their 40's?
For those who are dating in their 40's do you think it is harder for the male or female to commit to the relationship?

depends on the person--don't think it has a thing to do with male or female

Well a recent study showed that in the past most men would say, " why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free", but now 85% of women prefer to stay single. One woman was quoted, " why buy the whole pig for just a little sausage"....................

I'm not in my 40s yet, but here is my educated guess.....
I bet it is much harder for men to commit in their 40's. For women in their 40's, the biological clock is ticking. If a woman is single and in her 40's and has not had kids yet....and she wants to have kids....she will probably move in after a first date!
Granted, it seems like most women have kids by that age. Heck, if you go to any dating website online, even profiles for women as young as early 20's will say something to the effect of having 1, 2, 3, or more kids. At least you know she puts out!

In this day and age I would be scared to commit no matter what or age is man or woman.

At this age I think the person who can not shake thier past is the one who has the problem with committing.
