i was thinking about this last night. without giving up your identity, try to explain what went into to your username on here. i was going to do something with my lifelong nickname ozzie on here, but some portly feller from portsmouth had already taken that

so i started thinking about my favorite animal, and i adore the tiger. so i wrote down 4/5 to pick from and picked YOU'RE TIGER BAIT.

I PLAYED BALL AT IRONTON , I LOVE THE FIGHTING TIGERS , THE CINCINATTI BENGALS AND MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ANIMALS ARE TIGERS AND BALD EAGLES.

so i figured the tiger being such a majestic and fierce animal , i wanted to celebrate it bravery in battle, because if you mess with a tiger, you'll surely end up on the short end. so now you know , the rest of the story, bait.

Actually, most on here thought you took the name because of the foul odor emanating from your body, lack of personal hygene and your disdain for taking a bath but once a year . Thus a rotting , putrid piece of meat you might bait a trap with for some low life tigger is what many conjured up for how you got your name !!

I recall you saying on here a few years ago that you got your name from Mike Burcham.

You said he would talk about the teams Ironton plays in football and would say, "You're Tiger Bait!"

I very distinctly remember you saying this on a post.

I believe it was a few years ago when Coach Lutz resigned and someone started a thread on memories of him.

Someone said Coach Burcham deserved a lot of the credit for Ironton's football success too and started a memory thread about him.

That is where you put that he used to say, "You're Tiger Bait!"

Coach Burcham and my dad were good friends.

I recall thinking the story was very cool and sounded exactly like Coach Burcham.

Well, I always liked Led Zepplin so Dazed and Confused was always a possibility. I graduated from HS in 1976 so the movie based on that year by the same name added to the fire. And then finally, I guess it best describes my journey through life. Every time I thought I had it all figured out, I ended up....................dazed&confused!

I became a grandma for the first time, when I was 36. I have 7 grandchildren and my late husband had 7 grandchildren, so that makes 14 and now working on number 10 and 11 great-grandchildren. All of my grandkid's friends call me grandma. They always tell me I'm a number 1 grandma because I try to go to everything they are involved in, and brag on them all the time. The mom of two of Ironton's former Fighting Tigers, but, had to change mom to mum when I picked a username because my first date with Mr. Mum was Homecoming our junior year. I've had a mum every year since...will be my 35th he gives me this coming season.

When I was in the Army, we were getting ready to insert some spec-ops teams out in the boonies. The helicopter I was on was flying cover. So, as Im gettin strapped in behind this nasty lookin Dillon Aero mini-gun prototype, this pilot walked up, smiled, and said that, with the wild painted up face sheild that I had on my flight helmet, I looked like something out of Star Wars and he started calling me Space Cowboy. The nickname stuck.
As far as my location, I graduated in the 70s, went in the Army in the 70s. My personal experience, it was a wonderful decade for the most part.
Listening to the "winds of Thor" is alluding to a verse from a Led Zepplin song that was a clue to being in Vinton County (Vikings).
