Will Mark David Chapman be released anytime soon?

He has served over 30 years.

Good question! Chapman was a truly disturbed individual. I'm not sure what his frame of mind is now or even his ability to adapt to public life now.
Consider this abbreviated list of changes in mindset for anyone born since 1994-

Beloit College marks the start of new academic years by releasing its annual "mindset list" -- helping academics understand what their newest students didn't experience (except maybe from reading on Wikipedia) that may have shaped their professors. Some highlights of the new list, released today:

For the entering class, most born in 1994:

•Kurt Cobain, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Richard Nixon and John Wayne Gacy have always been dead.
•They have always lived in cyberspace, addicted to a new generation of “electronic narcotics.”
•If they miss "The Daily Show," they can always get their news on YouTube.
•Robert De Niro is thought of as Greg Focker's long-suffering father-in-law, not as Vito Corleone or Jimmy Conway.
•Bill Clinton is a senior statesman about whose presidency they have little knowledge.
•They have never seen an airplane “ticket.”
•For most of their lives, maintaining relations between the U.S. and the rest of the world has been a woman’s job in the State Department.
•Their folks have never gazed with pride on a new set of bound encyclopedias on the bookshelf.

I did....and your point is  ........Still can not admit when you are wrong.........   ...classic md.........And now back to one of the greatest songwriters of all time..........Imagine............. :12224

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky

Imagine all the people
Living for today
Aha-ahh

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too

Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
Yoo-hoo-ooh

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
Yoohoo-Ooh

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

...and this explains a lot about your background, abuck...

...this explains how your "religion" is that of John Lennon instead of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

...the world is on its way to "living as one"...however, it is moving in the wrong direction...

I know the reason he uses it.

...and this is where the hippie generation has led us...into a dream world.....

I call it a nightmare for our country!!!!!

I actually like the music. I was born in 1967 and listed to it all of the time.

I am referring more to the socially irresponsible acts that are now acceptable in our society that were once considered taboo.

Nonetheless, this is the mark the hippies will leave as the turning point in the history of the USA.

Again, attack the issue, not me personally......I thought you were a teacher...

The breakdown of the family unit due to individuality..."if it feels good, do it"
Teenage pregnancies..."if it feels good, do it"
Education failures due to societal breakdowns.....

Kentucky Trojan wrote:Teenage pregnancies
It is simply more open now to have a child...Before you went to your Aunts house who lived away from your home, had the baby and came home.......Abortions were performed to.......Nothing new here........

There are a myriad of reasons for this.....parents have to work two jobs to survive leaving children alone.... The governemnt interferring with educatrion with over testing, as you can weigh a pig ten times a day, but it is still a pig.......The loss of manufacturing jobs for young people to go into because of Corp. greed.......
