S.C. - That's quite a roster for such a short period of time. How many of them ended up in the scrap yard or the impound lot? :122245Space Cowboy wrote:I had several by the time I was 20, but here goes, in order:

Started with a 1970 VW Bug until the floorboards rotted out and I was driving the Fred Flintstone mobile with my sidekick, LEROY. I then graduated to a 1975 Ford Torino with a 400 engine. Big difference.

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
Belive it or not, I did not own a car before I got married at 18...............My first car however was a triumph spitfire............Loved that thing...............If I could find one now, I would love to get it and fix it up just to do road rallys with.............ah, those were the days............Owning a spitfire, in college, married to my best friend and broke.........
.........Wish I could go back.......... :12224

Re: WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
we loaded that jeep from the front seat back with firewood, rocks, you name it. all the way to the back window.i never met the load it didn't haul on the inside.we filled that thing plumb full of stone , from a creek in aberdeen, ohio. you couldn't see out the windows, and drove it back to ironton.
we bought it off lance clanton, my ole drafting teacher at ihs.
