Is everybody sold out?

I was at Vance's yesterday and they didn't have any 22 rounds.

I'm having very little luck on-line, mainly bird shot and expensive brands I'm not familiar with.

Wal Mart just had shot yesterday. I went down to Lucasville and got some at the Briar Patch. I stopped there on my way to my grandpas house.

CCI that was like $8.50 for 50 rounds. They had a few others, but not sure what they were. On 52 there as you go through Lucasville there a bow shop that sales ammo too.

Good deal, that is in relative terms.

A man at church told me this evening he can't find any either. I swear, sometimes I think Obama and Biden are ammo makers! They'd have to be getting em a share

The gun/ammunition industry is booming right now,
 probably close to 100% employment.
And with the Tax revenue currently being generated,
I doubt the White House does much to interfere with that.

It would be interesting to see a list of Bidens firearms.
He said out on the campaign stump this year that if Obama
Tried to take his guns they (he and Obama) would have problems.
In the speech he mentioned several manufactures of the guns
He owned. It would be amazing if a man owns that many
Firearms and none of them carry more then 10 rounds.
And 10 rounds is the magic number that turns a fire arm into
A high capacity weapon.
Hopefully if he did he has already had them destroyed,
It would be a shame if a politician was a hypocrite.

Also 10 rounds is almost always plus one in the chamber.
Which makes the guns true carry capacity 11 rounds.
If Obamas recommendations are made law we will either
Have a bunch of guns destroyed or a bunch of once
Law abiding citizens suddenly become criminals.

I have a 22 that holds a total of 18 rounds, my father gave it to me.
I just don't see being of a free will allowing that gun to be destroyed
Or taken away.

You just hit the nail on the head. The government will make criminals out of law abiding citizens. Imposing laws on the law abiding citizens will not stop shootings more than the man on the moon can. In case you anti gun people didnt read the memo, criminals dont follow laws in the first place and they will not relinquish their firearms that are illegal. Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the country and the highest violent crime rates (no surprise there). The gang bangers, robbers, murderers, etc. will still have their guns.

I am all for making it harder for people to get guns by applying the laws that already exist. I believe that guns bought anywhere (trade shows, etc) should require a background check. I believe that mentally ill should not have access to guns for their own protection as well as others. But there are already laws against it, and in Ohio the "Weapons under disability" charge covers all of it. It just has to be enforced consistently.

However, I do not believe that the government will allow this president to use "executive order" to ban certain types of guns when it comes to law abiding citizens. The democrats control the House and Senate right now, but the republicans will pressure the democrats from states like WV, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and other rural states that have a large % of the population being gun owners on their side.

For those who say that AR-15 style guns that are owned by law abiding citizens are "military" style weapons, wake up. They are semi auto, not fully auto. Citizens dont drive tanks, have nuclear weapons, drones, etc. The style of weapons that the law abiding citizens have are not even close in comparison to "military" style weapons.

They will not allow rights to be infringed and as mentioned previously, there is alot of money in the firearms and ammo business right now. Thats a ton of tax money being sent to the government at the state and federal level.

Why? Because you dont like guns and ammo? Drunk drivers kill more people in this country than firearms. Should we implement a 500% tax on cars so drunk drivers can afford them? Just like a car, guns need a operator. Most operators are skilled and use them properly. You cant punish all car owners because a small percentage jump behind the wheel while impaired.

I still can't get over how much they're getting out of 380 shells. They would have to be almost as popular as 9 mm now. I do have a few thousand rounds of 22's right now. I've had em for a while.

I've had to pick up some weird brands, PPU/Tulammo, but I'm keeping them fed. It's going to get better for us. Obama has fed his base with his executive actions and recommendations, so he can ignore the issue now. See, now both sides have a new campaign issue to wrangle over. The ten round ban will NEVER clear the House and will never stand up to a challange in SCOTUS.

You and I hope.....scum...Imean politicians have a proven tendancy to attach riders onto all sorts of other bills that effect things not even related to the subject of that bill.

I agree it won't last.It was like this during his first election you couldn't find ammo anywhere because of rumors going around Obama was taking our guns,I actually learned how to make it myself, but before I could get all the materials it was back to normal and you could get it pretty much anywhere, the gun and ammo makers are loving this hysteria.
