AS YOU KNOW I MOVED FROM KITTS HILL TO LAKE WHITE IN 2014.
I don't know how many of you know but lake white is getting drained dry as we speak. go to my page on facebook, and look at some of the pictures. I'm going to post some more today. tom Osborne 53 waverly, ohio.if we're friends here, and you didn't know who I was send me a request.put in a message who you are. I won't tell anybody. had one of my ole seops buddies from logan/nelsoville York stop in yesterday with his young'un.we hadda great visit.

so what's going on is, we have a huge hole in the dam here.they were supposed to redo 104 and the dam in 2015. then this happened. they are pumpin it dry, on the front of the lake where I live on 220-----in front of my house, it's dry other than a few low holes.the project to redo 104 and the dam was 90 percent funded , but had not went to bid yet.

it appear that they are going to go ahead and do just that. completely tear out the dam, and 104 and rebuild them.and I'm hearing the are going to clean the lake out and the debris.course I like the stumps, because I fish here out front.initially they said 3/4 years. but then the governor came in on a chopper. and landed over at the lake white club. I'm now hearing from a friend/inspector of state, that they are saying the project will take 2 years. ya'll come see me any time. I still know where the farm ponds are , that I can fish in.it will be full before you know it. god bless ya'll . YTB.

So are they going to keep 104 closed right there at the dam?

yes, at least 2 years cannon, probably a bit longer . but yes. you can come down 104 to piketon and come back over to 23 though.

Is the entire lake Dry?

it's getting there, the deeper end still has water.
my end the front of the lake 220 is dry other than a couple deeper holes.

Wow, Ill have to come by and get pics myself. That like when they drained Vesuvius that's something you'll never see again.

So what are they gonna do with all the fish and wildlife thats left with no water?

When they drained Roosevelt Lake in Scioto County for dam repair this year they did nothing to preserve the wildlife. My understanding is it all perished.

Thats sad Oaf! Maybe bait can put his cowboy boots on and can go out there and fetch him some big cats stuck in mud for dinner 8)

Slippery mud and cowboy boots! Kinda reminds ya of the freezer bowl doesn't it??

Did you get your compukeek fixed ? Or is it just jerry rigged

It's Charlie rigged. Took it to Charlie's shop, up 33, nothing a little tape can't fix, he said. It still shuts down in no time, Bolt. Time for a new one, I believe.

If anyone would know ole charlie would know,surprised he didn't try to sell ya one of his jalopies up there then close the shop down lol
