What do you like or dislike about summer?

Can't stand the sticky heat but love to cook out and have a beer or two in the pool.

No good TV. And the only sports on TV on a regular basis is baseball!

I like the extra time during evenings.

I don't like the increase in wood ticks. When do you grow out of those things?

Definitely hate the heat,like to get my garden going, but have been watching more baseball this year in a long time,the Indians have peaked my interest to see if they can make it the whole year this time around

The humid weather is bad but you can get out just about every day.

I like being able to go out the door without putting on a couple of layers of clothes. I like sitting on the porch and listening to the crickets. I like not having to scrape my windshield or worry about slipping on the ice.

I hate Mosquitos and ticks!

Nope, you are not odd at all. I don't care for summer all that much either. Fall/early winter I wish would stay year round.

While Spring & Fall are my favorite seasons for the mild weather, I also like the annual trips to the ocean in summer for a week here or there. Usually Ocean City , Md, the closest drive and Myrtle Beach, S.C. but Hilton Head, S.C. and the Outer Banks work too. Smell the ocean air, ride the breakers, chow down on seafood. Take in the sun, sights and sounds on the sand. Yeah, baby !
