Logan business closing????

Post by noreply66 »

Over the last few weeks going past KBI I have notice no cars in the parking lot. Ask someone that has knowledge with the business and they said it was for sell. If true it is really sad to see. Place paid good money and it wasn't nothing for them to work 6/7 days a week.

Never would have thought of that in a million years. I always thought that would stay in the family.Thought their business was good.

Heard it was for sale and maybe to a competitor. Rough for those who worked there for years. Business is a tough thing.

They could put out 15/20 50,000 pounds loads a day. A lot of the guys that had 20 plus years were gone before this happened. Hoping most of them retired. Think at one time the place held 2.5 million bushels of wheat. Always had wheat coming in by truck or rail even when full. Mr. Keynes was always someone good to work for. If someone does pick up the business I hope the laid off employees get a chance to come back.
