When I was in Washington it was January and in the 60s and a few days later I was in the capital of Alaska and 40 below. Wind wasn't blowing and it seemed better than when it is zero here with the wind blowing.

Didn't see any Big Foot in either place....lol

When I was in Washington it was January and in the 60s and a few days later I was in the capital of Alaska and 40 below. Wind wasn't blowing and it seemed better than when it is zero here with the wind blowing.

One of my great Aunts has been to both, says it's amazingly beautiful scenery. You never seen bigfoot, huh? I'll keep an eye out for him when I go too. But basically I love the look about it in the Northwest. I'm a mountain and pine tree lover.

Idaho is pretty in places too. Yeah, sometimes they get hammered with snow there in the higher elevations. Bet you had fun.

Like to see British Columbia too formerfcfan. I had plans one time to head to PA but never went. My Grandma lived in New Jersey at one time but moved here.

I would describe British Columbia as majestic. I would describe it as similar to Oregon and Washington in that you have a big city (Vancouver) and everything else is pretty scenic, rural, maybe desolate. I've been to WA twice, the first trip I was in Seattle area: saw Mt. Rainier, checked out the Experience Music Project, saw the place where Frasier was filmed. Then took I-5 up to B.C. Vancouver was really neat as a city, then took the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler (one of the resort towns that later would host events for the '10 Winter Olympics). Stayed in Whistler for a while. It was neat, really beautiful. I miss it and want to see it again.

However, I would not consider moving there. I'm not sure how to describe it, but the people I don't find to be "my cup of tea".
