I have noticed in a few games this year that some players were chewing gum while playing. Are players allowed to do this? I never allowed my players to do this in games or practice. I thought it wasn't allowed. With my medical background I wouldn't allow it either way, it just scares me to death about kid choking.

I know of no rule against it and know I number of refs who chew gum or have a mint in their mouth during the game.
