Madonna is having trouble finding a live-in nanny for her new, adopted son, says Britain's Mail on Sunday. The singer adopted 15-month -old David Banda last october in Malawi, and has been seeking child-care help ever since. So far, however, every candidate has declined the postion after hearing the singer's requirements--among them that the nanny must not ever watch television, even in her own room. Madonna doesn't believe in TV,says a source.Whoever gets the job has also been warned they will be working flat-out for the first three months and won't be allowed any visitors.

An Australian woman is recovering in the hospital after swallowing her spoon in a restauant. The 26-year-old Sydney resident, who can not be named for reasons of medical confidentiality, was apparently sent into a fit of giggles by an amusing remark from her dinner companion. Next thing she knew, she had swallowed her spoon. Surgeon Dr. Bernard Beldholm says the spoon was so deeply lodged that he considered going in surgically, but was eventually able to remove it "with great difficulty" through 90 minutes of nonsurgical manipulation.

Teri Hatcher is one of a growing number of A-list actresses who keep their skin supple by bathing in wine, says the London Dailey telegraph. The "vinotherapy" approach to skin care was pioneered in 1993 by a Joseph Vercauterem of-predictably Bordeaux University in France, and is based on the notion that grapes are rich in antioxidants. Experts recommend a single glass of wine, poured directly into the bath water."She would never drink it,"says a source close to Hatcher."But she claims bathing in it keeps her skin soft."
