An outcry has erupted in the usually easygoing Netherlands over an upcoming Tv dating show that will pair up people with physical deformities.The show,titled Love at Second Sight,has been running ads asking,"Do you have a visible serious handicap and are you looking for a partner?" Polls show 85 percent of the Dutch public disapprove of the concept,but producers say the show will serve to "remove prejudice about these people" and show that "they are absolutely not pitiful."

A very fat cat from Portland,Ore., has been reunited with its owner after the animal got stuck trying to squeeze through a dog flap in a strangers home. Homeowner Jadwiga Drozdek says she went to investigate a ruckus in his garage and found Hercules the cat,whose head is the size of a basketball wedged tight and struggling after making a successful food raid.it was hilarious says Drozdek,who freed the animal.Owner Geoff Earnest said Hercules disappeared six months ago,but didn't appear to have lost any weight.

Jennifier Lopez stunned the staff at a Los Angeles recording studio when she demanded they change all their light bulbs.The diva was apparently concerned that the lighting at Westlake Studios might be unflattering,even though she was there to record a song,not to be photographed.All the lights had to be at a certain wattage and an angle to make her look good.a record executive told the London mirror.We knew she was a little demanding,but this was absurb.
