1971--#1

L.E. White wrote this song after a friend and him were looking into a fireless fireplace and friend looked at him and said "Boy it looks cold in there,don't it?

Conway worked on doing the song for nearly a year until Loretta and him decided to do it together.

Loretta wrote this song herself as another way of expresing the pride of Coal Miner's Daughter,which had become her theme song.

This song was turned down all over Nashville until Harry Compton sang it to Conway then he new it would be a hit.

"D-I-V-O-R-C-E" is amazing but another Tammy Wynette song I like is "Stand By Your Man." I also like a few others like:

Stand By Your Man was Tammys best but do you know she actually hated the song.

Right Left Hand by Randy Travis is another good one.
